Job Summary:

This role is responsible for performing a variety of clerical and office duties and tasks to assist instructional faculty, staff, students and visitors.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Performance Requirements*
⦁ Maintains student records and files and reproduces class materials
⦁ Maintains inventory of supplies
⦁ Receives visitors and answers phone
⦁ Organizes and maintains test files
⦁ Administers and grades examinations
⦁ Prepares reports and responds to requests for information
⦁ Explains and demonstrates machines used in the area
⦁ Assists students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts
⦁ Maintains equipment and materials used within the department and maintains room in clean, orderly manner and provides strict security and accountability

Service Excellence
⦁ Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
⦁ Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
⦁ Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College

Supervision
⦁ Works under the general supervision of the assigned campus leader

Required Minimum Qualifications:

⦁ High School diploma or GED
⦁ One (1) year working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

⦁ At least one (1) successfully completed course in the specialized field being supported

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

⦁ Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships
⦁ Skilled using computer applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
