About your new role: 

BaptistCare is dedicated to delivering compassionate care and support to the community, guided by our core values of love, respect, reliability, and empowerment. In this newly created position in WA, the Asset Reporting & Contracts Manager will play a key role in upholding these values through effective asset management and contract administration. This crucial role will support the management and operation of our property assets, including report writing, contractor management, and strategic initiatives.

Duties: not limited to 

  • Asset Reporting: Oversee and ensure the accuracy and compliance of asset reporting processes.
  • Contract Management: Handle contract negotiation, implementation, and review to ensure they meet organisational standards.
  • Collaboration: Work with various departments to align asset management with organisational objectives.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, to facilitate smooth administration and reporting.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Manage the WA residential rental portfolio, including maintenance requests and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed reports on repairs, maintenance, capital expenditure, budgeting, and asset management.
  • Training & Development: Complete mandatory training and participate in annual development appraisals.

Skills and Experience:

Essential 

  • Proven experience in asset management and contract administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience in contractor procurement and management across a diverse portfolio.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and follow procedures with strong values.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively supervise the Property Services Administrator.
  • Commitment to supporting strategic initiatives and aligning asset management with organisational goals.

Desirable

  • A qualification in business or business administration is desirable.
  • Experience in an Aged Care or Health Care environment
  • Experience in a values-based organisation and supporting change management.
