The Admission Records Analyst audits, evaluates, and prepares applications and supplemental documents for undergraduate applicants to be reviewed by the Admission Committee.
Duties
- Evaluate college transcripts and enter college units for transfer students.
- Process prospective student applications for FY from CommonApp in Slate, and transfer students from Slate app in Slate, assign requirement checklists, and complete items as materials are received.
- Respond to phone calls and emails to communicate application status to applicants/prospective students.
- Process supplemental documents (letters of recommendation, transcripts, etc.).
- Evaluate high school transcripts to calculate an unweighted, academic GPA.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Uphold University mission through work performed.

Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience with data entry, and extreme detail orientation.
- Customer service experience, preferably with student applicants, and their parents.
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills necessary. Includes other duties and special projects as assigned by the Senior Associate Director of Admission Records.
- General computer skills, basic math skills, customer service experience, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Comfort and ease using a laptop, and document scanning equipment.
- Proficient with Google, Gmail, and Google Docs.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree; undergraduate admission experience, especially application and document processing.
- Experience with the Common Application, Slate, PeopleSoft, and Etrieve.
Qualified individuals should be able to show respect for workplace differences, and have the ability to work effectively with individuals from different backgrounds.

This is a Regular, Nonexempt 40-hour per week, 9-month position that may be eligible for remote or hybrid work in accordance with the University Policy Manual.
Expected Pay Range: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
The above pay range reflects what Pepperdine University reasonably expects to pay for this position at time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant factors such as work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level.
