About the role:

The purpose of the Brand & Promotions Director is to lead the local markets Brand & Promotions function, ensuring the maximization of ratings and audience results for the business. The role will work in conjunction with the CD and Product team to deliver marketing, PR and brand experience plans to achieve the markets strategic goals and ensure all SCA asset brands are communicated to consumers.

The Brand & Promotions Director will set ultra-high standards and new benchmarks with regards to activation planning and execution of audience experience solutions. This role is expected to demonstrate a high level of EQ, humility, respect and resilience in their leadership of all audience activity for the local market. 

Experience we’re looking for:

  • Extensive experience and knowledge of radio/media promotions, marketing, branding, PR, digital media and/or social media strategy
  • In depth knowledge of content, and promotions in the radio/media industry including an an intricate understanding of audience drivers across all platforms
  • Excellent people and resource management skills
  • Successful track record leading, motivating and inspiring complex teams; leading teams towards the delivery of creative solutions
  • Ability to provide creative and practical solutions to meet Content development needs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels
  • Keen interest in news, popular culture and current affairs relevant to SCA’s audiences
