Lehigh University seeks a dynamic and dedicated professional to join our Development and Alumni Relations team as an Assistant Director of Regional and Affinity Strategy. In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal part in engaging our diverse alumni community and fostering lifelong connections with Lehigh.
As the Assistant Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic engagement plans for your portfolio of regional and affinity-based alumni networks. Through thoughtful communication, innovative digital programs, and impactful events, you will create opportunities for alumni to celebrate their shared Lehigh experience and strengthen their ties to the university. Position Number: S82290
This position is a Grade: 8 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $46,180-$55,420 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of regional based alumni networks (6-8) that promote the university priorities and alumni engagement through in person and digital events.
• Manage regional and affinity volunteers for assigned alumni networks. This includes developing volunteer clubs as well as managing volunteers.
• Oversee 3-4 social affinity groups including but not limited to the Lehigh Wrestling Club, The Lehigh Sports Alumni Network, and Marching 97.
• Support programs housed within the Alumni Relations Team and others within DAR, to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• One to three years of related work experience
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• Proficiency in using technology and digital platforms
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The duties of this position may allow the employee to work partially remote as deemed appropriate by their supervisor. Occasional evening and weekend work. Occasional travel.
