Join Lehigh University's Development and Alumni Relations Team as an Assistant Director, Marketing Projects.

Lehigh University is seeking an Exempt Staff Full-time Assistant Director, Marketing Projects to join our dynamic Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) team. The Marketing Project Assistant Director works on a wide range of tasks in support of the Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) Marketing and Communications Team. The Marketing Project Assistant Director will provide marketing strategy for a variety of DAR projects and then manage projects across the content and design teams. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, people-savvy, and understand marketing strategies and tactics. The candidate will be comfortable using online tools to submit requests, track production schedules to ensure deadlines and schedules, follow up on outstanding tasks, and pull reports. Position Number: S98300

This position is a Grade: 8 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $46,180-$55,420 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build marketing plans
• Manage execution of marketing projects
• Draft language for marketing tactics
• Serve as liaison for deliverables between MarCom and requestors

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Marketing, a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Five to eight years of related work experience
• Experience in advertising, communications, marketing or PR, preferably at an educational institution
• Experience in a communications field with project management experience
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Familiarity with smartsheet, airtable, workfront, imodules, and drupal
• Interpersonal skills
• Outgoing and engaging personality, a sense of humor, strong work ethic, and the desire and ability to take the initiative in exploring new strategies DAR should consider
• Willingness to meet the varying need states of a layered organization
• Excellent interpersonal/team skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
