This position is a Grade: 7 - 37.5 with an approximate salary range of $37,190-$44,640 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating university buses and vans to transport students, faculty, staff, and visitors over scheduled campus and local routes
• Following assigned time schedules to ensure reliable, on-time service across Lehigh's Bethlehem campus and designated off-campus destinations
• Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting mechanical issues promptly
• Providing courteous, attentive service to all passengers while maintaining a safe vehicle environment

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• One to three years of related experience
• A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Air Brake endorsement, as required for Lehigh University transportation operations
• A clean driving record with demonstrated experience operating buses, vans, or other passenger vehicles
• Ability to adhere to set route schedules and adapt to changing conditions or passenger needs
• Strong situational awareness and a consistent commitment to road and passenger safety
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working a full-time shift schedule including early mornings or evenings as rostered
• Basic written communication skills for completing vehicle logs and incident reports
