| The Director of Instrumentation oversees all aspects of managing the Department of Chemistry's shared instrumentation facility. Instruments include two high-field NMR instruments, a MALDI and an LC-MS, and several smaller instruments such as FT-IRs, UV-VIS, GC, HPLC, etc. Instrument maintenance, cryogen fills (liquid He and liquid N2), consultation with users, and user training are part of the routine activities for this person. Special tasks include helping with new instrument selection, site preparation, and helping with instrument installation. |

| The Assistant Director of Housing Services is a 12-month, professional position reporting to the Associate Director of Housing Services within the Finance and Administration Division. This position oversees facilities management which directly affects the quality of student life for those students living on campus. In addition, this position coordinates all aspects of life safety in both graduate and undergraduate residential areas. The Assistant Director will also manage all administrative and operational functions within University housing. This position assists in managing student billing for all housing and dining charges. The Assistant Director serves as a liaison to a variety of offices and partners across Lehigh's campus. In addition, the Assistant Director participates in various Housing Services projects and campus wide initiatives.
