At LCRA, we are hiring for a Telecom Project Materials Coordinator to join our Telecom team! We are looking for a driven candidate to help with internal/external logistics. As a result would contribute to an exciting and rapidly growing Telecommunications business. In this position you will be responsible for verifying, routing, coordinating and expediting materials from LCRA warehouse to various construction locations. This is an opportunity to provide a new perspective to address complex problems; using best practices and experience to improve services. You would act as a valued resource for colleagues and work closely with key stakeholders to help ensure materials are closely tracked with minimal guidance.

You will be trusted to:

- Expedite, route and dispatch materials and parts for telecom jobs based on project schedules and commitments; tracks orders and transactions and/or expenditures; enters data into automated systems and/or manual record-keeping systems to order, track and maintain adequate supplies.
- Work with Supply Chain and Engineers to resolve discrepancies between orders and delivered goods.
- Provide detailed information to assigned workgroup on materials, supplies, and equipment availability.
- Complete repair forms and return materials to vendors for repair or replacement; handles shipping and receiving through freight company or other carriers (e.g. UPS).
- Review schedule to determine possible and actual shortages and alerts management of potential problems.

You qualify with:

- Six or more years of experience in telecommunications-related construction trades, material planning, construction project management, telecommunications project deployment and execution, or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in construction, industrial maintenance, project management or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Texas Driver’s license

You are a great fit with:

- Knowledge of LCRA's safety and environmental policies, practices, and procedures
- General knowledge of PeopleSoft/Maximo systems
- Knowledge of warehouse/stores policies and procedures
- Experience in operation of materials handling equipment (e.g. forklifts, front-end loaders, etc.)
- Ability to read and use a materials picklist in order to expedite the availability of materials
