Are you an experienced compliance leader ready to drive meaningful change? LCRA is looking for a Vice President of Regulatory and Market Compliance to lead our compliance efforts and maintain operational excellence. This role is critical in maintaining strong relationships with key regulatory organizations and will manage the overall compliance activities related to Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) requirements, Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) protocols, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) requirements, North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) reliability requirements, Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) requirements and other applicable market compliance requirements.

You will be trusted to:

- Lead and manage compliance functions ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Work to ensure that systems, processes and procedures are compliant and adhere to PUC, ERCOT, NERC, FERC, CFTC requirements.
- Lead and develop staff, providing direction, training, and performance management.
- Analyze proposed market rule changes and legislation and collaborate with Wholesale Power function to develop LCRA’s policy positions.
- Develop and implement compliance plans, procedures, and training. Ensure systems and practices are audit-ready and meet all regulatory standards.

You qualify with:

- Twelve or more years of experience in regulatory analysis, compliance or advocacy, or other relevant experience, with at least three years of experience regarding electrical power transmission, distribution or generation operations.  
- A degree(s) in engineering, math, science, business, finance or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
