LCRA is looking for a Project Manager to join the Transmission Project Management Office. You will be part of a team that leads with integrity to drive the successful execution of LCRA TSC's Capital project portfolio which efficiently handles LCRA's resources. The types of projects you will be leading include various types of Transmission Lines and Substations. You will receive valuable technical on the job training, all while focusing on safety as one of our key values. You will be trusted to:

- Promote collaboration within project teams. Represent the Transmission Project Management positively and with professionalism.
- Create and implement project work plans- as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Manage projects including project scope, schedule, and budget. Ensure that projects are driven within the requirements of the Transmission Project Management Governance Document, and all Board and Financial Policies.
- Minimize project exposure and risks by identifying and controlling project risks. Create, implement, and track mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Develop understanding of project objectives through discussions with stakeholders. Demonstrate understanding of the role and function of each team member and effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
- Develop and track the project budget and schedules. Resolve conflicts between resource limitations and project schedules. Obtain buy-in from stakeholders regarding budget and schedule. Negotiate with stakeholders regarding any changes to project parameters.
- Keep stakeholders informed of progress against agreed upon scope, schedule, and budget.

You qualify with:

- Nine or more years of experience in project controls, project management or work package management, including two or more years managing projects (including managing scope, schedule and budget) or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in project management, business, finance, economics, engineering, construction management, math, science, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver’s license
