Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:00, Fri 7:30-2:30

Job Summary:
This position provides essential and varied administrative and support activities for the Development Department, including Grants, Alumni Relations, and the NIC Foundation. As the lead support for the NIC Development Department, this role offers direct assistance to the Development Director/Foundation Executive Director. It demands handling a broad range of duties in a high-volume, deadline-driven, and fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:  Associate’s degree or Applied Associate’s degree or certification from a two-year college or professional/technical school or program and a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively work with vast numbers of people, projects, and competing deadlines
• Proficient skills using Microsoft Office applications
• Proficient skills using database systems (e.g., donor databases such as Raiser’s Edge, Access)
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone and copier
