Work Schedule: Typical campus office schedule is Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:00 Fri 7:30-2:30

Job Summary:
This position plays a key role in the annual fundraising, scholarship program, and stewardship efforts in close collaboration with the NIC Development Department and NIC Foundation staff and volunteers. Aligned with our culture, this position develops and maintains positive relationships with alumni, current students and employees, retirees, and current and prospective supporters, all to enhance engagement and philanthropic support for the College.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:  Associate's degree and a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training is required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Effective presentation skills
• Ability to work closely and effectively with fellow employees on a shared body of work
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Proficient in budget planning, tracking, and reporting
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office applications
• Ability to use Raiser’s Edge and Colleague software programs is preferred.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone, fax, copier
