About the Role
As a Ranger - Travelling Stock Reserves, you'll be a key player in the day-to-day management, care, and maintenance of TSRs across the region. Your work will help protect biosecurity, support emergency responses, control weeds, and ensure these vital public lands are used sustainably and responsibly.
You'll be delivering hands-on field services, working closely with landholders, stakeholders, and your team to support the broader goals of Local Land Services and the NSW Government.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and maintain Travelling Stock Reserves (TSRs) in accordance with legislation and policies
- Implement weed control and land management programs
- Engage with local landholders and communities to ensure responsible land use
- Contribute to biosecurity and emergency response operations when required
- Supervise field staff and contractors on occasion
What We’re Looking For
- Broad understanding of rural issues, land management, and livestock health
- Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to complete 4WD training
- Ability to use pesticides safely and in accordance with regulations
- A commitment to teamwork, safety, and sustainable outcomes
- A passion for working outdoors and engaging with your community
