Epidemiology Program Manager PHOENIX
This position will oversee the Environmental Public Health Tracking program within the Office of Environmental Epidemiology and is responsible for overall management and supervision of the program and any assigned personnel. This position performs supervisory and advanced professional analytical work related to environmental public health tracking, data analysis, reporting, visualization, and dissemination. Supervises and directs the work activities of subordinate staff involved in environmental public health tracking activities, including the acquisition and integration of environmental and public health data from multiple sources. Reviews and conducts literature reviews and data analyses to support program activities and public health practices. Provide training and technical support to program staff and data users as needed. Reviews work products or achievements of subordinate workers; evaluates work and formulates plans for improvements. Oversees implementation of program procedures, data management practices, and operational activities to support the program activities. Collaborates with the GIS and IT teams to support tracking activities. Collaborates with communities, partners, and stakeholders to support the use and understanding of environmental public health data and tracking resources. Participates in after-hours activities, including partner meetings and emergency response as needed. Participates in writing grants, other funding proposals, and grant reports.
