Human Resources Analyst Intermediate PHOENIX
Under the direction of the the Agency's Human Resources (HR) Operations Manager, this position will perform intermediate level human resources work in Operations. This position will provide HR data knowledge in processing personnel actions, audit HR data by extracting data to analyze and validate. Will assist with completing data entry for all agency personnel action forms (PAF) into the HR system. Will prepare and provide ad-hoc HR data reports to HR management when requested. Will analyze and audit past actions entered to ensure accuracy and appropriate application of personnel rules as applicable and make corrections as needed. The position will be responsible for monitoring and responding to emails in the Human Resources main email box. Answering the Human Resources main phone line. Maintaining and creating employee's electronic personnel files. This position will be a back up to the benefits liaison position. Present the ADOA Benefit Options and Agency Programs through new hire orientation. The HR Operations Analyst Intermediate also reviews HR processes and work flow and recommends process improvement steps to the HR Operations Manager and assists with special projects as assigned.
Program Project Specialist 2 PHOENIX
The Project Specialist provides essential administrative and operational support to the Bureau of EMS and Trauma System’s Certificate of Necessity (CON) and Enforcement sections. This position ensures the efficient processing of regulatory casework, correspondence, and documentation in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) Title 36, Chapter 21.1, and Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) Title 9, Chapter 25. This position serves as the primary on-site support for the Bureau’s regulatory operations, requiring regular in-office presence to manage daily mail, receive and process check deposits, prepare outgoing correspondence, and maintain case files and records. The incumbent supports section staff who work in hybrid or remote environments by coordinating document flow, scanning and uploading case materials, and ensuring timely communication and task completion across teams.
Financial Analyst PHOENIX
The Budget Analyst positions primary responsibility pertains to the, analysis, preparation of internal and external reports, reconciliation, and monitoring of transactions associated with assigned areas. This includes preparing various advanced budget/fiscal reports/ documents involving detailed analysis of: expenses, use of funds, contracts, purchase orders and other comprehensive analyses. This position is critical in the on going efforts to provide all needed documentation/justification associated with the Federal and State statutory requirements. This position will interact with all levels of Agency leadership as well as Suppliers, State Agencies, and the State Procurement Office related to financial and budget matters pertaining to: budget, cash management, reconciliation, compliance with state and federal regulations, reports, forecasts, and monitoring. With minimal guidance, this position will lead this effort, coordinate cross-team initiatives, and perform ad-hoc analyses with quick turnaround. This position will work with other Budget Staff and customers to; educate, empower, and build succession plans mitigating risk to the Agency while building skill sets that will provide opportunities for growth and advancement. This will ensure that supported areas are working closely together to maximize coordination, cooperation, and communication to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and standardize work practices across the team to meet established organizational objectives and program goals.
Public Health Scientist Associ PHOENIX
Perform analyses on environmental samples (ex. food and water) using complex analytical instrumentation of one or more of the following platforms: ICP-MS, LC-MS, GC-MS, & XRF. Position supports work for food testing, and EPA Water Infrastructure Improvement for the Nation (WIIN) grants. All analytical works performed in adherence to ISO 17025 and EPA accreditations, as well as, ADHS Laboratory QA/QC protocols. Bench work includes samples prep, sample analysis and the interpretation of test results. Additional work includes LIMS data entry, ordering of supplies/consumables, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, waste disposal, and adherence to Good Laboratory Practices. Works directly with chemicals and common laboratory hazards (gases, cryogenic sample prep) as well as analytical processes that may involve microwave digestion and/or solvent extraction. Performs method development and subsequent validations as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
