What you will be doing in this role
The Hospitality department is looking for people to join our team in casual cleaning roles, internally known as Ward Aids. In this position, you'll work alongside the Hospitality team to help with tasks like cleaning patient rooms and ward areas, as well as assisting with catering services for the ward. Your job will be to make sure all cleaning procedures are followed to a high standard in both clinical and non-clinical areas, helping to create a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and the community. Above all, you'll be providing excellent customer service to everyone you interact with.
Who we’re looking for
- You'll bring any previous cleaning experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (this is a plus).
- You'll communicate clearly and professionally, demonstrating experience in interacting thoughtfully with patients, customers, and internal teams.
- You'll be comfortable working independently without supervision, as well as collaborating with a team when needed.
- You'll be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
- You'll be self-motivated, well-organised, and able to manage tasks efficiently.
- You'll have a strong understanding of WHS safety and hygiene standards.
- You’ll hold unlimited Australian working rights.
