Kinetic IT are searching for an energetic, motivated and career focused Storage Engineer to join our team based onsite with our customer. You will be working as part of a small team supporting an enterprise environment, which will range from business-as-usual to project-based work.

KEEN TO GET INVOLVED? YOU’LL JUST NEED SOME OF THE FOLLOWING:

• Strong experience in enterprise storage environments
• Experience with Backup Platforms such as Commvault, MABs and Veeam
• Experience with Storage Platforms such as AVS, VMWare
• Experience with performing basic Windows and Linux Administrative Tasks
• Experience with stopping and starting services, setting permissions, creating SMB/ NFS shares etc
• Understanding of storage policies and storage best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues and communicate resolutions
• Availability to work to a rotating on-call roster

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Australian Government security clearance (essential)
• ITIL certification (desirable)
