Kinetic IT are seeking a Modern Workplace Technical Specialist to join our high-profile customer in a newly created role focusing on Microsoft 365 and Endpoint technologies.
As a hands-on specialist you will live and breathe Microsoft 365, Windows 10 / 11, Intune, MECM and the latest Copilot capabilities. If you love turning modern-workplace vision into reality, working shoulder-to-shoulder with customers and collaborating in cross-functional teams, we’d like to talk.
In this role you will…
- Enable customer outcomes – translate business goals (productivity, mobility, zero-trust) into secure, user-centred modern-workplace designs and measure success through user experience and adoption.
- Own the endpoint stack – design, deploy and optimise Microsoft 365 services (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Windows 10/11 SOE, Intune device management, MECM co-management and Hybrid Domain Join.
- Light-touch, zero-touch – build Autopilot, Autopatch and automated application packaging pipelines to deliver devices straight to users.
- Drive Copilot & AI adoption – enable Copilot for Microsoft 365 and Windows Copilot, including data-governance uplift and change-management guidance to maximise value.
- Harden & govern – implement security baselines, Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access and attack-surface reduction policies aligned to Essential Eight.
- Be the escalation point – provide L3/L4 troubleshooting across identity, device, application and collaboration services, partnering with vendors where needed.
- Collaborate & mentor – work in multi-disciplinary teams, coach engineers, publish knowledge articles and champion our Modern Workplace Community of Practice.
Keen to get involved? You'll just need some of the following:
- Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102), Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-102), Security Operations Analyst (SC-200).
- Extensive Microsoft endpoint / collaboration experience
- Deep, hands-on expertise with Intune (incl. Windows, iOS, Android), MECM co-management, Autopilot, PowerShell & Graph API automation, Windows 11 feature updates and Copilot rollout.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, foster user adoption and deliver outcomes within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills with a knack for turning tech-speak into business value.
- Active AGSVA clearance
