| Student Ambassadors are enthusiastic and spirited Ichabods who share their love for Washburn University by serving as front-facing student representatives of the Washburn Community of Learning. Student Ambassadors support the mission and operations of the Office of Recruitment and Admissions. They are regularly the first point of contact for prospective students and families and are expected to provide a positive representation of Washburn in an engaging manner through personal connection and storytelling. Student Ambassadors perform a variety of tasks including greeting visitors, providing high-level customer service, giving campus tours, assisting in the execution of campus visits and recruitment events, communicating via phone with prospective students and families, and assisting admissions professional staff with other tasks and projects. The roles and responsibilities of Student Ambassadors are mission-critical to the successful operation of the Office of Recruitment and Admissions. |
