The successful candidate will assist with the improvement of the 2-year Mechatronics program that is aligned with the industry needs. The Program Director’s duties will include recruiting of students into the program and teach a selection of classes. The program is designed to be both day and an evening/ weekend program. Appointment to this position may require some weekend or evening commitments. The Program Director will represent the program to internal and external constituencies and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the program. This includes scheduling of classes, searching/screening applications for part-time and full-time faculty position and maintain the teaching laboratory.
The Program Director will be based at Roane State’s Anderson County Higher Education Center, frequent off-campus travel is expected. |

The Industrial Electrical Maintenance/Mechatronics (IEM) Associate Instructor is primarily responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to students. This position will teach adult and high school students in the IEM program in conjunction with the current IEM instructor to prepare them for employment in the field. This position is full-time and reports to the Clarksville Campus Director. Work schedule is a minimum of 37.5 hours per week on a set schedule from Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is not a remote work position. Anticipated start date August 2025. |

• Develop, review, and update curricula and instructional material with faculty to ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory or accreditation standards.

• Coordinate First Aid and CPR activities for faculty, staff, and students.
• Compile, revise, and publish the Practical Nursing Handbook and related manuals and brochures on a timely basis.
• Administer policies and procedures established by TBR/ TCAT and participate in College and Departmental Policy Development.
• Serve as the point of contact between the institution and third-party sponsors and vendors for nursing and allied health students.
