Upward Bound Counselor Dyersburg
The Upward Bound Counselor is responsible to the Director of TRIO Programs. The primary purpose is to recruit, counsel, and advise high school students who are first generation college and/or low-income students about college prospects. Upward Bound is an academic pre-college program designed to prepare and motivate high school students to attend and complete the college or university of their choice. DSCC’s Upward Bound program currently serves Halls High School, Lake County High School, Obion County Central High School, and Peabody High School.
Assistant Coach, Men's Basketball Dyersburg

The Automotive Technology Associate Instructor is responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students to prepare them for employment in the field of auto mechanics. Areas of instruction include training in the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) certified program and the eight areas of ASE certification. The Automotive Technology Associate Instructor is also responsible for administrative duties including, but not limited to: grading, creating/updating lesson plans, record keeping, etc. This position is full-time and is not a remote position. Director of Workforce Data Nashville
The Director of Workforce Data will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of data related to noncredit workforce training offered at TBR colleges. This includes the development of near-real time dashboards that provide insight into training opportunities, enrollment patterns, contact hour accrual, and other metrics related to noncredit training. Additionally, in collaboration with TBR’s Center for Workforce Development, the Director will create routine and ad hoc resources to support TBR and Tennessee initiatives related to workforce training, such as the state’s TNWORKS initiative. This includes merging multiple disparate data sources to create an all-encompassing view of different workforce training opportunities and student outcomes. As a part of TBR’s team working to scale noncredit data solutions, the Director of Workforce Data will help identify noncredit data priorities and subsequent data standards requirements. Working with the Senior Director of Data Strategy, the Director will also have responsibility for ensuring data collected from colleges is of high quality and meets established requirements. Finally, the Director of Workforce Data will routinely liaise with members of the Center for Workforce Development to support oversight of a common community college LMS and ensure that the Center’s data needs are met. This position may have the opportunity to work hybrid within the state of Tennessee but with periodic (weekly) visits to the TBR System Office (Nashville, TN) at the employee’s expense, and potential travel to Tennessee TBR colleges may be necessary.

The Director of High School Partnerships oversees Columbia State’s high school programs, including dual enrollment, dual credit, middle college, and academically talented and gifted. This position works with local school systems and college staff to develop, evaluate, and maintain early post-secondary opportunities for high school students throughout the college service area including Columbia State’s five campus locations, off-campus sites, and service area high schools that offer embedded courses.  The position facilitates communications of course and program requests from local education systems to the Dean of Regional Services and Southern Campuses, Vice President of Partnerships and Southern Campuses, academic deans and the associate vice-president for faculty and programs as well as enrollment services and campus staff.

The Director of Advising reports to the Dean of Student Services and supports student success and retention by ensuring quality, proactive and holistic academic advising and responsive front-line services. This role will oversee One Stop Center staff on the Dyersburg Campus and professional staff advisors at all DSCC locations, while also providing master advisor training and advising resources for all academic advisors, ensuring students receive consistent, well-informed guidance throughout enrollment. Police Officer 1 (TCAT) Memphis
This is a full-time, grant-funded position working under direct supervision of the Police Supervisor (Captain) and general supervision of the Associate Director of Public Safety. This position is designated to work at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology locations within Memphis. The Police Officer 1 investigates crimes and accidents, protecting faculty, staff, students, visitors, and property, facilities by law enforcement. He/she responds to calls for assistance including emergency crisis situations and provides other safety related services. He/she must be flexible to work different shifts if and when deemed necessary.
