This position is responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing services provided by the accounting office. The Director provides leadership for staff that provide accounting and financial reporting services including financial statement preparation, budget preparation and reporting, Tennessee Board of Regent and State of Tennessee required reporting, position control and budget, and any ad hoc financial or budgeting reporting. The position is also responsible for management reports that include analysis of trends and the status of delivered services. This role requires the director to participate in the department’s day-to-day activities.

Faculty - Technologies (Artificial Intelligence) Memphis
Southwest Tennessee Community College is in the process of developing and launching a new Artificial Intelligence Technology program. As a result, this position will play an important role in supporting early-stage curriculum development, program planning, and implementation, in addition to teaching responsibilities. This is a full-time academic-year (9-month) appointment faculty position reporting to the Department Chair of Technologies. The faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related academic activities in the assigned discipline. Teaching responsibilities include foundational and advanced Artificial Intelligence topics such as Python programming, data analysis, machine learning, artificial intelligence tools and frameworks, neural networks, and ethical considerations in AI. Primary responsibilities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, curriculum development, student assessment, and participation in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities. The faculty member plays a key role in shaping and maintaining the Artificial Intelligence curriculum and integrating hands-on, applied learning experiences into the program. The faculty member is expected to perform assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus, as assigned. At a minimum, related faculty responsibilities include instruction, academic advising and mentoring, serving on departmental and college committees, and participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities and organizations. In addition to standard faculty responsibilities, this position includes assigned program coordination duties for the Artificial Intelligence Technology program as part of the faculty teaching load.
