Massage Therapy Clinical Coordinator Arnold/Main Campus
In collaboration with the Massage Therapy (MAS) Academic Chair, the clinical coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the on-campus Student Massage Clinic. The clinical coordinator coordinates the clinic’s operations to include but not limited to communicating with faculty, staff, students, and the community and coordinating and supervising students in the clinic. In addition, the clinical coordinator is responsible for establishing a service-learning component for the students’ clinical experience, to include but not limited to, networking with community partners to coordinate chair massage events and supervising students participating in these off-campus events. The clinical coordinator is responsible for tracking job placement of program graduates and identifying potential employers to assist program graduates with job placement. The clinical coordinator teaches 20 FLH in the MAS curriculum per academic year, including the summer term.
Dental Hygiene Academic Coordinator Arnold/Main Campus
In collaboration with the DHY program director, the academic coordinator oversees didactic instruction in the Dental Hygiene (DHY) program at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC), to include but not limited to quality assurance of instruction, instructional over-site of dental hygiene part-time faculty, reviewing and updating program manuals, ensuring course content is up to date for instruction, assisting the DHY clinical coordinator in supervising students in the dental clinic, and monitoring student retention and completion. The academic coordinator actively engages with students and participants in events and orientations, assists in the coordination of program surveys, program and course level assessment, and program analysis and technology integration. The academic coordinator communicates concerns about part-time faculty and/or student progress to the DHY program director. Additional duties include but not limited to, instruction in a variety of formats including classroom, lab, the AACC Dental Clinic, special topics courses, on-line instruction and coordinating and providing tutoring. The academic coordinator also assures compliance with college, program, CDC, OSHA standards, ADA guidelines, and accrediting agency standards. This is a staff position that requires an in-person presence. The academic coordinator teaches 30 - 36 FLH in the DHY curriculum per academic year, including the summer term and for reporting purposes to the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) will be identified as faculty
Testing Specialist Arnold/Main Campus
The Testing Specialist will administer and proctor examinations for AACC students, prospective students, community members, and certification candidates. Testing Specialists must keep exam security at the forefront of their work while providing excellent customer service to a diverse population. This position must respond to student needs, use ADA technology, and provide support to students, staff, faculty, and community members.
Director of Laboratory and Simulation Education (DLSE) Arnold/Main Campus
The Director of Laboratory and Simulation Education (DLSE) is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating simulation-based learning across the continuum from standardized patients through high-fidelity simulators. The DLSE oversees and ensures the efficient operations of the School of Health Sciences labs and Simulation Center. This includes but is not limited to managing lab accounts and grants, purchasing supplies and equipment, maintaining records for purchasing, maintaining medical supplies and equipment inventories, maintaining and repairing equipment, and ensuring clean, safe, and functioning labs. Responsibilities also include resource management, standard operational procedures, and preparation for accreditation reports and site visits. The DLSE works with Assistant Deans, Academic Chairs, Directors, and Faculty to develop simulation curriculum and provide simulation training to faculty and staff. The DLSE establishes new external relations and partnerships and hires, trains, and evaluates laboratory and simulation staff. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and work independently and collaboratively. The position is in-person M-F during SHS operational hours
Instructional Coordinator Arnold/Main Campus
The Instructional Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the departmental part time faculty hiring, contracting and on boarding process; maintaining syllabi and other course documents; maintaining instructional materials; assisting the programming staff in schedule building and managing enrollment. The Instructional Coordinator also performs technical and administrative functions to support part time faculty, and students at eight off site locations.

Instructor/Assistant Professor, Systems and Resource Management Librarian Arnold/Main Campus
The Systems and Resource Management Librarian is responsible for managing and providing support for all aspects of library systems, software and technology, including the integrated library system (ILS), and for overseeing the library’s resource management office. Primary duties include configuration, maintenance, enhancement, training and troubleshooting of the library’s SirsiDynix Symphony ILS and its public web interface, managing and supporting all other library-specific systems and web-based services, and coordinating cataloging and systems work. This position also provides library instruction and reference services and serves on college committees.
Part-time Paramedic Instructor Arnold/Main Campus
We're looking for instructors that are enthusiastic and engaging with students, and willing to be a team player with other full time and part time faculty and staff members. The Paramedic Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to paramedic students, preparing them for state and national certification exams and field practice. The instructor develops, implements and grades within the paramedic curriculum, conducts classroom lectures, hands-on skills labs, and mentors during clinical rotations. This role requires collaboration with full-time instructors, Director of EMS, medical directors, clinical sites, and EMS agencies to ensure students receive comprehensive and current paramedic education. The instructor is also responsible for maintaining their own certifications and continuing education to stay updated with advancements in emergency medical services.
Instructor/Assistant Professor, Nursing (Multiple Positions) Arnold/Main Campus
The positions in nursing are in the following specialty areas: Practical Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing and/or Maternity/Pediatrics. The PN program is year-round; summer hours are expected. Diesel Technology Instructor Arnold/Main Campus
Part time evening instructor position. Instructor is responsible for classroom and lab instruction in Diesel Technology trade. The instructor will follow the curriculum outline and learning expectations. Content is housed in Canvas (online learning platform). Instructors must have some computer experience, expertise in the trade and the ability to effectively manage a classroom. Prior teaching experience is not required. A desire to share your knowledge of the industry with future skilled trades workers is a must! Instructors will be required to adhere to Anne Arundel Community College’s Adjunct Faculty Instructional policies and procedures.
Custodian I/II-various shifts available Arnold/Main Campus
The Custodian I/II position is responsible for providing custodial services for all College buildings. Dedicated to assuring proper hygiene compliance and the cleanliness of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, administrative offices, auditoriums, etc. There will be (4) overnight, 11pm – 7am shifts and (1) shift that will work 7am – 3pm (3) weekdays and Saturday and Sunday.

Instructor/Assistant Professor, Accounting Arnold/Main Campus
The ideal candidate is committed to the ideals of community college education and has a proven ability to teach college-level accounting and finance courses. Excellence in oral, written and interpersonal communication skills is required. The required teaching load will be 15 faculty load hours per semester to primarily include face to face and online courses in financial and managerial accounting at our main campus in Arnold, MD. Additionally, the candidate will be required to teach at least one course per semester in upper-level accounting (intermediate, tax, audit, accounting information systems), bookkeeping, or small business accounting (QuickBooks®).

The Dental Lab Assistant assists the instructional staff in implementing clinical skill competencies; actively participates in clinical evaluation and supervision of skills/simulation experience, and evaluation of student achievement including formative and summative evaluation. Primary functions include: working directly with students individually or in small groups to reinforce subjects initially introduced by the teacher in clinical areas; observing students and assessing their progress; setting and reinforcing objectives for students; having a strong understanding of the topics to be taught; ongoing mentoring and attention to the continued needs of the students and preparing students to sit for the Dental Assisting National Board Radiation Health and Safety certification exam.

Legal Studies - Part Time Faculty Arnold/Main Campus
