| The UNT Dallas College of Law welcomes applications from experienced lawyers, judges, and law school instructors who are interested serving as Assistant Professor of Law. This is a full-time, tenure-track position. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching, research, and service, and to assist in further development of the UNT Dallas College of Law program.
The appointment will be as an entry level tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach twelve credit hours per academic year beginning with the 2026-2027 academic year. The College of Law is interested in persons with all substantive legal interests, but particularly is interested in persons able to teach Civil Procedure, Conflicts of Laws, Evidence, Family Law, Property, Remedies, Trial Advocacy, and Wills, Trusts, and Estates as well as courses designed to assist in bar preparation.

EXPECTATIONS:
Because the educational program will strive for excellence in developing practice related competencies, faculty members will be expected to follow the instructional and curricular practices of the College of Law, including use of the Canvas Learning Management System, learning outcomes, multiple assessments, and research and writing modules within a course, as appropriate, with support from other faculty as well as research librarians. The College of Law will support faculty in these areas by providing training, course design expertise, and learning management system support. |

| The Director of the Technology, Innovation, Development, and Entrepreneurship (TIDE) Center at the University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) is an 11-month position which will serve as the strategic and operational leader for the TIDE Center, one of the university’s key initiatives.
The director will assist TIDE’s role as a convener of parties interested in advancing the Southern Dallas Region through technology, innovation, development, and entrepreneurship.
