The Office of Student Success and Testing Services is dedicated to empowering students and the community we serve throughout their educational journey. We are committed to fostering the growth and success of both students and community members by providing resources that support educational and professional development. The Office of Student Success and Testing Services houses both Student Success and Testing Services.
UNT Dallas Testing Services is committed to supporting the academic and professional success of students and community members. Being the central testing location in the DFW metroplex, our Testing Center provides a plethora of exams, maintain exam integrity, provides a safe testing environment, and is committed to the proctoring services of high stakes certification exams, educational placement exams, and correspondence exams for other educational institutions.

Position Overview
The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for the Testing Coordinator position. In this role, the Testing Coordinator will report directly to the Assistant Director of Testing Services and will assist in coordinating testing for students and non-students. The Testing Coordinator will gain knowledge in testing, proctoring, and TSI while maintaining confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with two years' of related experience and or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong organizational, written and verbal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications: Two years of experience in related field; or any combination of experience, education and training which provides the following knowledge, abilities, and skills: Considerable knowledge (or ability to rapidly assimilate and retain) university operating procedures, organization and management policies. Working knowledge of sound business principles, practices, and techniques. Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. High level of competence using email and search engines. When required: Skill in typing at a moderately fast rate with few errors. Knowledge of general safe working procedures related to work performed.

Required License/Registration/Certifications

Job Duties:
- Administer a variety of placement, certification, and standardized exams on- and off-campus.
- Oversee day-to-day testing operations, including scheduling, room setup, and test security.
- Coordinate and communicate daily testing rosters and requirements with test sites and proctors.
- Maintain secure and organized test materials, and order supplies as needed for regular and special testing sessions.
- Assist students with TSI preparation and interpret TSI scores to determine developmental education needs.
- Advise students on their TSI status and recommend course placements and pathways for academic success.
- Conduct holistic reviews of student records to guide course placement decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of student test scores and submit required reports and statistical summaries.
- Ensure compliance with FERPA and all university policies related to testing and student data.
- Monitor testing procedures and recommend improvements in accordance with institutional standards.
- Support the Assistant Director of Academic Testing with administrative duties and departmental operations.
- Ensure safety and security protocols are followed in all testing environments.
- Provides administrative support to the Assistant Director of Academic Testing.
- Assist with training and onboarding new staff and/or student workers.
- Coordinates the gathering of information and preparation of schedules, reports, and analyses.
