Position Overview

University of North Texas Dining Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hourly Dining Associate to join the team at UNT Clark Bakery.

In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting daily bakery production and back-of-house bakery operations. Responsibilities may include preparing, assembling, and packaging bakery and food items according to standardized recipes, and assisting with product organization and storage. You will help ensure items are prepared efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Additional duties may include maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace, washing and sanitizing equipment and utensils, restocking supplies, and assisting with receiving and storing deliveries. This position requires the ability to follow detailed instructions, adhere to production timelines, and work collaboratively with bakery and dining staff to meet daily operational needs.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, with a strong commitment to quality, consistency, and safety.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to learn)

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

Reliable attendance and punctuality

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Previous experience in a bakery, food production, or commercial kitchen setting is preferred but not required.

Job Duties
