Responsible for all aspects of maintenance and upkeep of the OSU Department of Wellness athletic fields and grounds as well as all associated equipment. This includes management and supervision of athletic field maintenance staff. Duties to include mowing, field lining, aerating, verticutting, sweeping, topdressing fertilization, irrigation repair, and winterizing facilities and machinery. Maintain detailed records of inventory, maintenance, fuel, and repair records, and develop and maintain a regular schedule of equipment maintenance and cleaning. Repair equipment as necessary and turn in warrantied work for reimbursement. Perform general maintenance in Department of Wellness facilities. This position is heavy in manual labor and requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 75 pounds occasionally.
