Couch Restaurants is the centralized dining hall for residents of on-campus residence halls, and faculty/staff/guests. Couch Restaurants is a dynamic and exciting place to work on campus. As the Scheduling Specialist, this full-time benefits-eligible position will work to schedule employees. The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating the work schedules of employees, in compliance with a designated staffing plan. They are responsible for communicating directly with student employees to confirm work schedules that fit the needs of Couch Restaurants, while also supporting the needs of students. Position works closely with Couch Restaurants supervisors and managers to maintain student employee coverage throughout the restaurant and communicating schedule changes. Position communicates time and attendance issues to supervisors, managers, and students, and also works to secure replacements for shifts if/when a student isn't available.
