Graduate Research Assistant (Fall) Norman
The Graduate Assistant for the Office of Advocacy & Education is one, intentionally integrated, professional graduate position within the Office of Advocacy & Education (OAE). This single role is structured as a split assignment and is designed to bridge two critical areas of student support: survivor advocacy and basic needs access. The selected GA will contribute meaningfully to initiatives that advance student safety, dignity, equity, and well-being at the University of Oklahoma. OU Advocates provides confidential, survivor-centered support to students, staff, and faculty impacted by sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, stalking, and sexual harassment. The OU Food Pantry addresses basic needs insecurity by providing shelf-stable food, fresh fruits and vegetables, and nutrition education. Through this integrated position, the GA will assist with outreach, programming, volunteer coordination, data tracking, and administrative support across both program areas.
