Athletics Graduate Assistants (Fall 2026) Norman
The purpose of the Athletics Graduate Assistant program is to support promising individuals who are committed to a career in intercollegiate athletics and to continuing their education at the graduate level. The graduate assistant appointments include: a full waiver of graduate tuition (student is responsible for paying associated fees), a bi-weekly stipend, health insurance coverage and other benefits provided to athletics department employees (benefits vary but may include complimentary admission to athletic events). Research in the Hayes Lab focuses on how developmental immune stressors lead to changes in brain development and risk for neurodevelopmental disorders. The primary responsibilities of the position include assist in mouse colony maintenance, performing experiments, data collection, management, and analysis.
