About the role:

Support the operations of the Marketing Technology & Data capability, play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing campaigns that enhance our brand presence, engage existing and prospective customers and drive business growth.

This includes managing and developing our 1:1 marketing campaigns for various channels such as Email, SMS, DM, Call centre and social media. You will also support reporting and tracking outcomes of our marketing activities. Contribute to the ongoing usage of Marketing Technologies within the organisation by providing technical support to the user base, and participation in BAU and project enhancements using the technology.

Strategically advise marketing personnel on the targeting and segmenting of the customer base for Campaign Management including the analysis of campaign requirements and or assets that need to be built, determine the appropriate data resources/sources to suit the specific campaign

Manage the day-to-day interactions with internal technical teams to prioritise, develop and implement solutions across the groups technical assets, including but not limited to Unica, Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Audience Manager and GCP.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with business unit stakeholders to understand, govern & refine requirements, in campaign end to end development.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the internal development team with respect to prioritisation, requirements, development, implementation and testing of enhancements to campaign development
  • Conduct QA on own & peer changes to platforms (i.e. Campaign Build).
  • Communicate to business unit stakeholders on progress of project and BAU activities.
  • Contribute to the co-ordination of the team JIRA board and ensure tasks are prioritised, sized and implemented according to expectations.
  • Provide support for enquiries & incidents relating to technology solutions
  • Troubleshoot data queries & other incidents, working with 3rd party support teams as required
  • Continually expand working knowledge across a variety of Marketing Technology platforms, and contribute to the knowledge sharing effort by maintaining documentation platforms (i.e. Confluence)
  • Work collaboratively with Platform and wider B&M teams to ensure performance management of digital activity, forecasting needs are meet and to help deliver seamless customer experiences.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification Must.
  • Marketing / Financial / Business Studies / Statistics Desired 
  • 3+ years working with SQL database integrations and data management.
  • Strong experience with developing and troubleshooting SQL.
  • A good understanding of RDBMS concepts, Data flow and ETL process.
  • Experience working within or supporting 1 to 1 campaign development using any of the CRM technologies (e.g. Unica Campaign, Adobe Campaign, Pegga, Sales force)
  • Adobe Experience Cloud solutions (Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, Audience Manager, Test & Target) or equivalent – advantageous
  • Experience configuring and overseeing the implementation of Google Analytics - advantageous
  • Experience eliciting & documenting data requirements from a non-technical audience
  • Experience creating training materials to assist with the ongoing learning & strong adoption of Marketing Technologies within an organisation
  • Experience working within an agile environment.

Key Capabilities:

  • Good working knowledge on RDBMS and Entity Relationship concepts.
  • Strong SQL Knowledge. (Development and troubleshooting)
  • Proficient knowledge of workflow & knowledge management tool (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to translate and communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Able to gather requirements, as well as promote your ideas with Stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills to manage a range of responsibilities.
