At Suncorp, our Terri Scheer brand is synonymous with excellence in this field. We're on the lookout for a Major Loss Claims Manager to become a valuable addition to our dynamic team in Adelaide on a 8-month secondment.

What you’ll do 

• Manage a diverse portfolio of high-value claims across various stages. 
• Deliver empathetic, clear, and consistent communication to customers throughout the claims journey. 
• Liaise proactively with stakeholders (assessors, repairers, suppliers) to ensure smooth claim progression. 
• Implement effective conflict resolution strategies to reduce customer escalations. 
• Identify and support customers experiencing vulnerability. 
• Ensure claims stay on track and are aligned to positive outcomes through timely interventions. 

What you’ll bring 

• Minimum 12 months’ experience as a Terri Scheer Claims Manager (essential). 
• Strong empathy, with a customer-first approach in challenging situations. 
• High level of integrity and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. 
• Excellent verbal communication and rapport-building skills. 
• Proficient in computer systems, with a focus on accuracy and professional email communication. 
• Strong time management and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
