About the Role

Reporting to the Program Lead, this is a pivotal role within the Field Delivery North West Team. This full-time role is based from our Western Treatment Plant in Werribee. As the Crew Maintenance you will be responsible for: The civil maintenance and grass management works in waterways and land delivery environments at the Western Treatment Plant and Werribee region.

  • Operation of plant and equipment such as tractor and front deck mower under supervision.
  • Work under routine supervision either individually or in a team environment
  • Use and perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Understand and undertake defined quality control/assurance procedures including the ability to recognise fundamental quality deviations or faults

About you:

  • Experience in grass and weed management, Water ways maintenance, asset inspection and project works 
  • Ability to work proactively as a member of the team, contribute fully to team decision-making and take responsibility for own role in ensuring the safety of all team members and other personnel on site
  • Ability to work and contribute in a team environment to improve processes, respond to various demands and manage multiple activities simultaneously
  • Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations
  • Valid Victorian Drivers license (MR or HR would be favourable)
  • Ability to pass both a Criminal Record check and Pre-Employment medical
