This is a five-month Fixed Term Contract role running from August through to December 2025. Reporting to the Program Lead, this is a pivotal role within the Field Delivery North West Team based from our North East Regional Office in Croydon. This Crew Natural Resource Management Role will see you make a difference to both the environment and to the health of the waterways of the Eastern Suburbs through to the Dandenong ranges. Along with traditional land owners these vital roles ensure the successful delivery of natural resource management and project works within the region. Your ability to work part as a team and experience within Natural Resource Management as well as passion for improving the biodiversity and aesthetics of the waterways in your community will see you excel within these roles. Due to the travel required for the role, you will be required to hold a valid Victorian Drivers license.
This role is responsible for recommending and determining the Statutory Services related to civil engineering and urban planning approvals (predominantly Development and Subdivisions relating to civil engineering and environmental engineering matters) within the Development Services Scheme Areas.

We have a full time permanent role, and two fixed term Crew Natural Resource Management roles (11 months and 8 months) based at our Brooklyn Work Depot. Reporting to the Program Lead, these are pivotal roles within the Field Delivery Maribyrnong team. As a Crew Member of a small team, you will be responsible for the execution of natural resources management maintenance works on Melbourne Water’s Waterways and Land assets.
This role provides an opportunity to set the pathway and legacy for the water supply system in Melbourne, through implementation.
This part time (.8) role, reporting to Senior Manager Risk, Wellbeing & Systems is a pivotal role within the Melbourne Water’s Safety Portfolio. As the Senior Health & Wellbeing Lead you will be responsible for the design and development of systems, frameworks, and initiatives that enable and embed health and wellbeing as integral components of Melbourne Water’s organisational performance, culture, and risk management approach.
Assess and manage civil engineering projects, review detailed construction design applications of DSS assets and financial reporting functions associated with the asset delivery phase.
