Melbourne Water has an ongoing opportunity for an Assistant Company Secretary based at the Docklands.

We are currently have a full time position and a fixed term role within our Field Delivery Bayside and Dandenong team, from our South East Regional office in Carrum. These exciting and dynamic roles will see you make a difference to both the environment and along the waterways within the following Councils: Bayside, Kingston, Dandenong, Glen Eira, Knox, Monash, Yarra Ranges & Casey. Along with traditional land owners these vital roles ensure the successful delivery of natural resource management and project works within the South East region. As a Crew Member your will be responsible for the execution of Natural Resource Management project of works which includes the use of a chainsaw and chipper within local council areas.

Currently we have two vacancies in the Water Supply Operations Team.  One of the vacancies is within the Silvan Operations Team, based at Silvan Reservoir and the second vacancy is in the Northern Operations Team, initially based in the Yarra Valley.  Both these roles will report into the Local Team Lead Operator. . As the Water Supply Operator you will be responsible for managing day-to-day and emergency operations of Melbourne Water’s water supply assets. These assets include; storage and service reservoirs, treatment plants, pumping stations and transfer mains. This involves practical hands-on operational duties, and the use of several IT systems including remote monitoring & system control.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Capital Delivery (Performance), this is a pivotal role within the Capital Delivery – Performance team within Melbourne Water Major Capital Delivery. As the Construction Advisor, Major Capital Delivery you will be responsible for the oversight of site based construction activities on nominated projects providing assurance to best practice systems, processes and construction methodologies; and ensuring all construction methodologies within the Major Capital Program are delivered safely and efficiently whilst meeting the required business quality and functional requirements.

Reporting to the Manager Asset Knowledge & Technology, Strategic Planning, this is a pivotal role within the Asset Knowledge & Technology team.

Reporting to the Area Lead – Program Delivery, this full time role is based from our South East Regional Office in Bangholme. As the Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering multiple civil projects across the minor capital team. Due to the vast travel required for the role, an operational vehicle will be provided in line with Melbourne Water’s Motor Vehicle policy.

The Asset Protection team currently have three full time vacancies. As the Senior Asset Protection Officer you will be responsible complex applications for works interfacing with Melbourne Water assets and administering Asset Protection Condition Letters spanning across the Melbourne region.

The role of Senior Media Advisor is a pivotal role within the Media and Community Affairs. In this role you will be responsible build Melbourne Water’s brand and reputation by driving proactive and positive coverage of Melbourne Water’s services and work via traditional media. You will maintain a proactive program of positive PR and effective issues preparedness. Monitor internal and external environment to develop proactive media plans, stories and communications assets and reactive media statements. Ensure Melbourne Water spokespeople are briefed, prepares media performance reports, and help to maintain a proactive program of positive PR and effective issues preparedness.

Reporting to the Head of Waterways & Catchment Services South East, this is a pivotal role within the Service Partnerships team. In this exciting and impactful leadership role, you will oversee a team of partnership coordinators and drive multi-partner collaborations that are key to achieving Melbourne Water’s strategic objectives. You will lead complex, internally and externally funded initiatives that require strong partnership management, strategic thinking, and a focus on community outcomes. Your efforts will contribute to the health of our catchments and waterways and the broader environment, ensuring that we are meeting the diverse needs of our stakeholders and customers.

We currently have a Crew Natural Resource Management vacancy working in the Koo Wee Rup area from our South East Regional office in Carrum (Depot in Koo Wee Rup). This exciting and dynamic role will see you make a difference to both the environment and along the waterways of the iconic Cardinia Shire (in the Koo Wee Rup district, Bass River catchment and Phillip Island). Along with traditional land owners these vital roles ensure the successful delivery of natural resource management and project works within the South region. As a Crew Member your will be responsible for the execution of Natural Resource Management project of works within the Cardinia Shire region(along the waterways and land in this region). Your ability to work part as a team and experience within Natural Resource Management as well as passion for improving the biodiversity and livebility of your community will see you excel within these roles. Due to the travel required for the roles, you will be required to hold a valid Victorian Drivers license.

Reporting to the the Manager Lower Yarra, the Review Officer Waterways & Drainage North East Link is a pivotal role within the Waterways & Catchment Services team focussed on driving positive outcomes for waterways and drainage assets throughout the design and construction phases of North East Link. Part of Victoria’s Big Build, North East Link is the biggest ever investment in Melbourne’s north east, delivering the 6.5km North East Link tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen and major upgrades to the Eastern Freeway and M80 Ring Road. This is a two year fixed term contract for two and a half days a week (0.5 FTE). In this role you will drive positive outcomes for waterways and drainage assets by working with North East Link to ensure a healthier environment for future generations to come.

We are currently have a Crew Natural Resource Management vacancy working in the Field Delivery Team based from our Western Treatment Plant in Werribee.

The Procurement Manager - Contracts is accountable to the Head of Procurement & Contract Management for all Contract Management and related contract performance governance across Melbourne Water. The role manages all governance, delivery, and performance obligations across all Melbourne Water contracts from award to completion, including supplier relationship development, contract performance and risk management, in line with the Procurement Policy, Procurement Framework, and Contract Management Framework.

As the Manager, Talent Succession & Performance you will be responsible for the development, delivery and management of an integrated Talent, Talent Pipeline and Succession strategy to support a future fit workforce and drive improved individual and organisation performance at Melbourne Water.
