We are currently have a full time position and a fixed term role within our Field Delivery Bayside and Dandenong team, from our South East Regional office in Carrum. These exciting and dynamic roles will see you make a difference to both the environment and along the waterways within the following Councils: Bayside, Kingston, Dandenong, Glen Eira, Knox, Monash, Yarra Ranges & Casey. Along with traditional land owners these vital roles ensure the successful delivery of natural resource management and project works within the South East region. As a Crew Member your will be responsible for the execution of Natural Resource Management project of works which includes the use of a chainsaw and chipper within local council areas.
Currently we have two vacancies in the Water Supply Operations Team. One of the vacancies is within the Silvan Operations Team, based at Silvan Reservoir and the second vacancy is in the Northern Operations Team, initially based in the Yarra Valley. Both these roles will report into the Local Team Lead Operator. . As the Water Supply Operator you will be responsible for managing day-to-day and emergency operations of Melbourne Water’s water supply assets. These assets include; storage and service reservoirs, treatment plants, pumping stations and transfer mains. This involves practical hands-on operational duties, and the use of several IT systems including remote monitoring & system control.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Capital Delivery (Performance), this is a pivotal role within the Capital Delivery – Performance team within Melbourne Water Major Capital Delivery. As the Construction Advisor, Major Capital Delivery you will be responsible for the oversight of site based construction activities on nominated projects providing assurance to best practice systems, processes and construction methodologies; and ensuring all construction methodologies within the Major Capital Program are delivered safely and efficiently whilst meeting the required business quality and functional requirements.

Reporting to the the Manager Lower Yarra, the Review Officer Waterways & Drainage North East Link is a pivotal role within the Waterways & Catchment Services team focussed on driving positive outcomes for waterways and drainage assets throughout the design and construction phases of North East Link. Part of Victoria’s Big Build, North East Link is the biggest ever investment in Melbourne’s north east, delivering the 6.5km North East Link tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen and major upgrades to the Eastern Freeway and M80 Ring Road. This is a two year fixed term contract for two and a half days a week (0.5 FTE). In this role you will drive positive outcomes for waterways and drainage assets by working with North East Link to ensure a healthier environment for future generations to come.
