This full time role is based from our Olinda Reservoir work centre in Lilydale. Reporting to the Program Lead, this is a pivotal role within the Field Delivery North West team. As the Crew Lead Civil, you will be responsible for the in-field oversight to multiple work groups for delivery of pipe repair work/civil maintenance on Melbourne Water’s Waterways Water Supply pipe network and Land assets. The team operates within a 24/7 service environment, providing emergency response services to ensure minimal disruption to customers and to protect the environment and public health.
Reporting to the Program Lead, this full-time role based from our South East Regional Office in Bangholme. This role will be working across the Brighton, Bayside, Port Melbourne, Greater Dandenong and Knox. An operational vehicle will be provided. As the Leading Hand you will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring functionality of drainage assets, litter collection, coordination of minor civil maintenance tasks and data collection. As a frontline leader you will have one direct report and largely work in crews of two. As the Leading Hand Maintenance you will be responsible for providing in-field oversight of their work crew for delivery of project works, asset inspections, data collection and litter removal. The role will use mobile devices, iPad, mobile phone and GPS for navigation, data collection and recording and resolving work orders. Due to the vast geographical area covered within the role an operational vehicle will be provided.
