The QCoal Northern Hub is situated in the Bowen Basin in Central Queensland, about 6km south of Collinsville.  Thiess has recently secured a 4 year contract extension through until 2022.

About the role

We currently have a vacancy available for an enthusiastic Training Administrator at the QCoal Northern Hub.  Working a on a 5/2 roster you will report to the Health, Safety and Training Manager and work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Provide administrative support to the HS&T Manager, Training Coordinator and Safety Advisors
  • Assist the HS&T team in the compilation and preparation of monthly reporting requirements including data management within the Thiess Safety Management System, Synergy (Enablon)
  • Proactively support the Training Coordinator meet the key objectives of the Training Department by facilitating the administrative requirements of the Thiess Training System
  • Perform other duties as may be defined by the HS&T Manager

About you

  • Previous experience as a HS&T administrator within a resources, construction or legal industry would be considered advantageous;
  • High level of organisational skills;
  • Highly motivated and committed to meeting deadlines and delivering results;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (specifically strong excel skills); and
  • Strong attention to detail.

Roster and Conditions

  • 5/2 Roster - Monday to Friday
  • Full Camp Facilities available
  • Permanent Full-time Position
