About the role

As our next CHPP Electrical Tradesperson reporting to the CHPP Maintenance Supervisor, this role will see you maintaining all areas of the Coal Handling Preparation Plant in line with the production and maintenance schedules. 

Our Lake Vermont Project is situated in Dysart, North Queensland.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain all aspects of the CHPP completing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
  • Perform first response breakdown as required
  • Ensure safety and reliability of all CHPP electrical equipment
  • Comply with site procedures, instructions and original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) specifications and limitations to ensure effective use of equipment and achievement of safe maintenance targets

Roster & Conditions

  • 7 on 7 off rotating shift roster
  • 12.25 hour day shift only (Wednesday - Tuesday)
  • Permanent position
  • Camp accomodation provided
  • A bus will be provided from Mackay, Rockhampton & Yeppoon
  • Salary sacrifice flights available

About you

Role requirements as a CHPP Electrical Tradesperson at Lake Vermont:

  • Current QLD Electrical Licence and Low Voltage Rescue
  • Previous or current experience working within the fixed plant environment
  • Current EEHA and HV competencies will be highly regarded
  • High commitment to a positive safety culture
  • Current Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
