Senior Associate PB Finance

In the role of Senior Associate, you will join the Personal Banking Finance team that’s doubling down on keeping it simple and winning together.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Work with Finance Partners to identify, analyse and interpret issues, trends and growth opportunities and accurately present logical conclusions and insights.
- Produce and deliver high quality and timely analysis to develop commercial actionable insights and recommendations, collaborating with key business stakeholders and finance partners to tell a story that drives decision making.
- Utilise technical data skills and analytical knowledge/practices to collate data and perform detailed analytics.
- Support the central PB Finance functions including forecasting, performance & planning and financial reporting/control.
- Assist in the production of financial and non-financial results, performance drivers, scenarios and recommended actions plans to improve business performance/assist in Business decision making.
- Assess, analyse, and investigate aspects of financial reporting, including core performance metrics and how these metrics impact the P&L.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Effective utilisation of tools to extract, manipulate and analyse data, including HFM, Excel, Thinkcell, Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as resilience with stakeholder management.
- Experience with analysis and problem solving.
- Professional experience in finance/accounting, financial services, corporate reporting, risk reporting or data analytics.
- Tertiary qualified (Commerce/Business/Economics or related), ideally working towards CA/CPA.
