Your opportunity
The Auditor is a key role within the SHES function responsible for supporting project system audits to ensure that the company complies with relevant SHES procedures and processes and identifying potential risks, ensuring adherence to procedures and processes, and promoting continuous improvement in SHES practices.
Additional accountabilities include;
- Supporting the planning and delivery of an integrated internal risk-based audit program, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, as well as Office of the Federal Safety Commission and AS 4292 Rail Safety Management audits, ensuring compliance across all business projects and operations.
- Providing expert advice to stakeholders, reducing safety, health and environmental risks while aligning with industry best practices.
- Developing comprehensive audit reports with findings and recommendations, driving corrective action plans to completion.
- Monitoring compliance and providing trend analysis on systematic items, actions, to drive preventative initiatives and outcomes.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Proven experience in managing safety and health or environment in a large multi-disciplinary organisation.
- Demonstrated experience as an internal or lead auditor, with a proven track record in safety and health or environment audits and compliance.
- Understanding (including audits) of the Office of the Federal Safety Commission, ISO 45001. Occupational Health and Safety Management System and / or ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and / or AS 4292 Rail Safety Management.
This role supports the CPB Contractors business across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea and will be based in one of your HQ locations.
