Your opportunity
We are seeking a Data Centre Design Manager – CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) to support the successful delivery of a major data centre project, driving the next wave of digital and AI-enabled growth. We are seeking experienced professionals with a track record of delivering data centre projects and an understanding of the complexities of hyperscale and enterprise-grade environments. This is a career-defining opportunity to contribute to a complex, high-value project and play a key role in its successful delivery through construction, commissioning and handover.

You'll be responsible for bringing the design together. Working with consultants, subcontractors and project teams, you'll coordinate the architectural, structural and services design, resolve clashes and design issues, manage change, and help ensure the project moves smoothly from design through to construction and completion.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the CSA design across consultants, subcontractors and project teams to keep design delivery on track.
• Leading design reviews and helping identify clashes, constructability issues and design risks before they impact construction.
• Managing RFIs, design changes and technical queries, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
• Working closely with site teams to make sure the design is practical, buildable and aligned with project requirements.
• Monitoring design deliverables, approvals and key project milestones to support the construction programme.
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and delivery teams to drive collaboration and achieve project outcomes.
• Managing the work performance of self and direct reports, including Design Coordinators and Design Engineers.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in a Design Manager or similar role on major construction projects, ideally in data centres or other mission-critical projects
• Strong understanding of CSA design and design coordination.
• Experience working with consultants, subcontractors and project delivery teams.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Relevant qualifications or equivalent industry experience
• The ability to work well with people and build strong relationships across site teams and subcontractors
