Your opportunity 

  • Managed commercial processes, including contract administration, risk, and change control, to ensure successful project delivery.

Reporting to the Project Director, the Commercial Manager will sit within the project team and be accountable for:

  • Manage project insurance processes, including claims administration and compliance with insurance requirements.
  • Oversee head contract obligations, including change management and timely submission of contractual notices.
  • Implement and monitor commercial and financial risk management practices.
  • Review subcontract tender documents to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, and manage claims, disputes, and conflict resolution.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Qualifications in Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Law / Business
  • Significant experience operating in a large, complex and contracts driven environment
  • Experience in Project Financial Management or commercial construction experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present high quality, concise information and to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to anticipate and resolve problems with practical and positive solutions
