The Department of Econometrics & Business Statistics is Seeking Expressions of Interest for Secure Forms of Employment
The Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics is seeking expressions of interest for opportunities to be engaged as a Continuing (Defined Periods) Academic at Level A or Level B.
Continuing (Defined Periods) Academic Employment is used when the University identifies work needed for specific teaching periods within a calendar year. This employment type encompasses defined working (paid) and non-working (unpaid) periods aligned with teaching commitments. Continuing (Defined Periods) Employment is ongoing and part-time and will be offered for a minimum of 0.6 FTE during a defined working period. The fraction can be adjusted through a change of fraction form for a teaching period up to a maximum of 1 FTE throughout the duration of the defined working period and up to a maximum of 40 weeks within a calendar year. Continuing (Defined Periods) Academic Employment is an alternative to sessional employment and provides a more secure mode of employment, certainty of work and the opportunity for professional development and career progression.
