Are you looking to contribute your skills and make a difference in community health? We are seeking dedicated Health Information Officers to join our Clinical Support Team casual pool within the Community & Allied Health Services Division. In this vital role, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and staff, helping ensure smooth and efficient operations in client data management, medical records, and referrals.

About the Role:

As a Health Information Officer, you will support the clinical team by managing client information, processing referrals, and maintaining medical records within our Community & Allied Health Services. Your contribution will help clients access the health services they need, ensuring they receive the best care possible. Your ability to navigate health systems and maintain confidentiality will play a key role in our day-to-day operations.

About You:

  • Previous experience in customer support, particularly in a health or health-related role
  • Proficiency in systems like CME (Client Management Engine) and Health Track
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and record-keeping
  • Familiarity with medical record systems, retention, and disposal protocols
  • Strong knowledge of the health services available to the Yorke & Northern community
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation
