About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Education Coordinator to lead professional education activities within the DonateLife Network. In this role, you will be working closely with DonateLife SA's State Medical Director and State Manager/Nursing Director responsible for the development and delivery of nationally consistent education and training programs, supporting both DonateLife staff and the broader community. You will play a key role in facilitating workshops, overseeing training initiatives, and ensuring the accuracy and management of the DonateLife Learning Module Site. By collaborating with the national Education Coordinator Network (ECN), you will contribute to national projects, share best practices, and drive consistency in education delivery.

This role requires a skilled educator with strong clinical knowledge and experience to provide high-quality learning experiences and training materials. You will be accountable for ensuring alignment between education practices and policy, fostering a positive and safe learning environment, and evaluating the effectiveness of education initiatives. About You

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Education Coordinator with strong leadership, communication, and education skills to support professional training within the DonateLife Network. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Strong leadership and communication abilities – Highly developed skills in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation, with the ability to lead consumer engagement initiatives and manage change effectively.
  • Expertise in education and training – Proven ability to develop, coordinate, and deliver high-quality education programs, conduct evaluations, and present effectively to both professional and community audiences.
  • Extensive nursing/midwifery experience – A Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least five years of post-registration experience, ideally in critical care, organ donation, and a tertiary qualification in education is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare education – Understanding of legislation, industrial agreements, competency standards, quality improvement systems, and contemporary nursing/midwifery issues.
