Join our dedicated Mental Health Rehabilitation Services (MHRS) team, where you'll empower consumers and their families to achieve maximum wellbeing and build self-management capacity. About the role: 

Duties for the role will include:

  • Provide high-quality evidence-informed mental health and psychosocial assessments for consumers with complex mental health needs.
  • Deliver a range of evidence based individual and group interventions in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team, consumers and their families 
  • Provide expert consultancy and guidance for the multidisciplinary team regarding social and environmental issues relevant to the treatment and rehabilitation of consumers.
  • Support and provide leadership for complex discharge planning   
  • Contribute to the planning, development, and continuous improvement of mental health rehabilitation services.
  • Provide professional supervision and clinical leadership to less experienced social workers.

About you:

  • Holding a Social Work qualification accredited by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and eligible for membership.
  • Significant experience as a Social Worker working with consumers with complex mental health needs in a rehabilitation or acute mental health setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based social work theories and interventions relevant to mental health rehabilitation.
