Join our Respiratory and Sleep Services team as an Administrative Assistant today! 

About the role: 

Reporting to the Network Administration Manager, as the Administration Assistant you will be working within the multidisciplinary team supporting the Respiratory and Sleep Services Department and Outpatient Services clinics working in a fast-paced patient facing environment. Duties for the role will include:

  • Preparing clinic timetables and ensuring efficient booking of clinics
  • Notifying patients of their appointment details or changes in appointment details in an appropriate timeframe
  • Dealing with customer and client enquires in a timely manner and relay telephone messages to members of the team, either by email, written message, or telephoning urgent requests
  • Providing general administrative duties as requested by Respiratory and Sleep Health Service staff
  • Maintain patient confidentiality of patient information at all times

About you:

  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and with a high degree of independence, determine priorities, perform well under pressure and forward plan
  • Experience providing an effective and strong patient focus within a patient service environment
  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate
