Overview:

The position is responsible for providing effective, efficient and innovative contracting support to the New Women’s and Children’s Hospital Project. The role includes undertaking a range of procurement and contracting support services including:

  • Coordinating the development and preparation of relevant tender documentation;
  • Establishing and coordinating contract related processes and protocols;
  • Coordination of document reviews including trade package reviews;
  • Prepare briefs, agendas, minutes, contract management documentation, and reports to a range of stakeholders within the required deadlines;
  • Monitoring and reviewing procurement and contract administration processes and procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement and implementation of best practice;
  • Participating in a range of contract management activities including pre and post tender meetings, monitoring of contracts, financial payment management, progress payments and reporting and the management of records and databases; and
  • Providing specialist advice, direction and assistance on procurement and contract management practices to project members;.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC)  for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
  • A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position.

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
