Are you an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist passionate about helping older adults regain independence and improve their quality of life? Join YNLHN and contribute to the country-wide Transition Care Program and other GP Plus services, delivering restorative care that makes a real difference across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver innovative allied health services for Transition Care clients.
  • Support consistent, high-quality delivery of Transition Care and GP Plus programs.
  • Build the skills and knowledge of regional Allied Health professionals in restorative care.
  • Assist in the development of other staff to adopt a restorative approach to care planning and delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a motivated, collaborative Allied Health professional with experience in restorative care and community-based service delivery. You’ll be confident providing high-quality care, supporting team development, and sharing expertise with colleagues across the region. Your initiative, communication skills, and commitment to improving client outcomes will make you a valuable member of our team.

Incentives and Support

Port Pirie and the Mid North

Set against a dramatic backdrop of the Southern Flinders Ranges on the shores of Spencer Gulf lies Port Pirie. The Mid North region is renowned for its superb rural panoramas, culturally unique townships and is South Australia’s gateway to the outback and Southern Flinders Ranges. The area is made up of ancient and dramatic landscapes, peaceful tree lined gorges and a wealth of native wildlife. This is a place to explore fishing, outback camping, bush walking, four-wheel driving, cycling, photography and much more.

Port Pirie has the largest case-mix funded health service in the YNLHN and provides outreach to 8 regional sites including Port Broughton, Crystal Brook, Gladstone, Jamestown, Laura, Booleroo, Orroroo and Peterborough (max 1.5hrs drive from Pirie).

Allied health services are based at Port Pirie GP Plus, which has fit for purpose clinical areas, group rooms and resources.
