About the role: 

Reporting to the Safety Manager, some of your duties for the role will include:

  • Providing appropriate support / assistance / education for the completion of these studies / projects
  • Liaising with other clinical improvement related personnel in the hospital (Consumer Adviser, Clinical Risk Manager, Infection Control Unit, Quality Coordinator, Pharmacy, and Work Health Safety Manager, etc) to integrate adverse event management
  • Provides leadership and direction, acts a role model, mentor, consultant and resource person
  • Manage specific projects as defined by the CEO and/or Manager of Clinical Governance
  • Represents the organisation at local/national meetings and conferences as needed

About you:

  • Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse and/or Midwife
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical project management
  • Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving conflict resolution and negotiation
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation
